Walk Boldly in Faith: Trusting God in Uncertain Moments

Leya Mnangagwa meeting Oprah Winfrey after stepping forward in faith and boldness

This Women’s Month has been deeply meaningful for me.

It became a time of celebrating strong women. Not only the visible, but also the unseen. Women in boardrooms. Women raising families. Women carry quiet sacrifices that often go unnoticed.

Yet in the middle of celebrating others, God gave me a personal reminder.

Walk boldly in faith.

When Opportunity Feels Unclear

Opportunities do not always arrive with clarity.
At times, they feel intimidating.
In other moments, they make us question whether we belong.

That is exactly what I experienced.

An opportunity came before me this month. However, I did not fully understand what it meant. So I prayed. I fasted. I asked God repeatedly for direction.

Then, He answered.

The confirmations became consistent. The signs became clear. More importantly, the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit kept whispering, go.

So I went, trusting what God had already confirmed.

Walking Into the Room Anyway

When I arrived, doubt met me at the door.

Immediately, I felt out of place. Imposter syndrome crept in. A quiet voice asked whether I truly belonged in that room.

Even so, I held onto one truth:

If God opens a door, you walk through it.

That decision placed me in a moment I could never have planned.

A Moment That Was Bigger Than Me

In that space, I found myself face-to-face with a woman who has inspired many across the world.

She has walked boldly in rooms that were never designed for women to lead. Her voice has shaped generations.

However, this story is not about a person.

It is about God.

Because one prayer has always guided me:

God, may You get the glory for my story.

When Rejection Is Not the End

When the moment came, access was limited.

She was surrounded by influence, structure, and control. Naturally, I asked for an opportunity to meet her.

The answer was no.

For a moment, rejection stood in front of me. However, I chose not to accept it as the final answer.

Instead, I remembered something important.

I had already prayed about this. I had already fasted. God had already confirmed.

Choosing Boldness

Rather than stepping back, I chose to step forward.

I waited patiently. Then, when the moment came, I approached her myself.

What I expected to be brief became something meaningful. She stood up. She welcomed the moment. We spoke.

It was not just a greeting. It was a real conversation.

In that moment, something became clear:

God did not bring me there for a picture.
He brought me there for a purpose.

Walk Boldly in Faith

Not every door opens through status.
Not every opportunity comes through connections.

Instead, some doors open through faith. Others open through boldness.

You will face moments where rejection tries to convince you that you do not belong.
In certain rooms, you may feel small.
At times, doubt will ask you to shrink.

However, if God guided your steps, you do not shrink.

You walk boldly in faith.

Because those opportunities are not random. They are divine invitations.

A Reminder for Every Woman

This month reminded me of something powerful.

Bold women are not fearless.
Rather, they feel fear and still move forward.

So when God places an opportunity before you:

Pray about it.
Seek His guidance.
Listen carefully.

Then, when the moment comes:

Walk boldly in faith.

Because your obedience may not only change your story.
It may open doors you never imagined.
